Company’s History

Gary Bryant spent most his working life in furniture and bedding retail, he spent 27 years working at and managing the Northern Rivers area’s largest furniture store “Brown and Jolly’s”, then in 1991 moved on to open his own furniture and bedding store “Gary Bryants Rite Price Furniture”.    

Dallas Bryant started his working life in 1988 at A-Mart Furniture Gold Coast. Then in 1992, Dallas moved home to Lismore to work with Gary at his Gary Bryant’s Rite Price Furniture store.   

Gary sold this business to Vado’s  Furniture in 1995, Dallas stayed on to work for Vado’s and Manage the Lismore store until A-Mart bought all 3 Vados’ stores closing Lismore and Byron Bay shops. Gary then had a few years at Harvey Norman whilst Dallas had a couple of years selling Real Estate and teaching 50’s Rock n Roll Dancing.  

Dallas joined Gary once more to open the present store in 2001. Gary Bryant sadly passed away in 2004 leaving Dallas to carry on the family business.  

Dallas has since employed Garry Haynes to work in the store with him. Garry Haynes has a wealth of Knowledge and experience as well, dating back to him starting work at Brown and Jollys in the 70’s.
